Something Fun

Nate and I spent the morning watching these Youtube videos. I am sharing them because it has been a wonderful day to watch videos. The clouds came out and well what else is there to do when the clouds come out, other than cuddle the cute little guy on the couch. Especially the first one.

Natie Gram #3

So last night I asked Nate if he saw anyone flush anything down the toilet, it has been acting weird for a whole week. He said no. Then he starts in with, "I just didn't like my old blue toothbrush." That got my attention. So, after a long interrogation he finally said that he did in fact flush it down the toilet. He did this because he thought I would get mad because he didn't like it anymore. Then he said, "It's okay papa can come fix it again."

With that I told him I was mad and he needed to think about it and go to bed. At this point it was 8, which is his bedtime. An hour later I went to check on him, sometimes I worry. Well, I open the door and look over to his bed. He is laying there with the blankets over him. I could tell he was up to something.

I pull the blanket back and find him COMPLETELY COVERED IN MARKERS! Black and green markers. I am like laughing so hard at this point there is no way I can properly punish him while laughing. I made him show Dan and get in the bath, for a second time that night. I do have to admit though, I am proud of him. It took dedication and focus to do this.

His punishment for not going to bed on time however is he has to wear pajamas all day today. He hates wearing them in public, and I figure a little humiliation will be good for him. He needs to understand that my word is law and he needs to follow it.

Today we went to his aunt Cici's pool, and got to play with his friend Bella. It was wonderful to spend a day in the sunshine. Though he got a bee sting, he still played in the pool for most of the four hours we were there.

Mind the bad quality these were taken on my phone.

All the detail was in the hands, they were completely black.

Natie Gram #2

I missed a day. Yesterday was super busy! Nate's Amanda came to visit, he got to stay at his Meema's house and to top it off he got to play with one of his friends. He also got to play with Amanda's pink "guitar". It is in actuality a ukelele, though Nate calls it a pink guitar.

Cute Things He Said Today:
*Sang over the phone* "My mommy is my best friend."
(Later in the phone conversation) "Do not hang up, *voice muffled* PAPA THAT'S TOO MUCH MUSIC I CAN'T HEAR MY MOMMY!"

Natie Gram #1

This is the very first post on the Natie Gram blog thingy. I feel as though this will be much easier to keep up on than emailing you all stuff about him, since I already blog so so much!

Cute Things Nate Said Today
Nate: "You're driving too fast."
Me: "I am going the speed limit!"
Nate: "You need to get a ticket. Then you need to get a job."
 (I know I put that on facebook but it made me laugh really hard.)

Today he played with Legos making robots and he wore his super hero cape, and Amanda's weird black old lady winter hat.

We intend on going swimming at Aunt Cici's house soon as Dan gets off of work.
